If you are on the VLCD (very-low calorie diet) at an HMR center I would check with their medical director. If you are using some of the shakes on your own (you should never use just shakes if you are not medically supervised by an HMR physician) in addition to fruits, veggies and low calorie items, I would recommend 2 entrees per day. What we generally recommend are 3 shakes, 2 entrees, and 5 fruits and veggies. This recommendation is for weight loss. I hope that this is helpful for you. |
